PLEASE READ *PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS CLASS! Week 1: $184 Week 4: $184 Week 7: $182 This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses. To participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. This course is ideal for companies, business owners, businesses, civilians, those looking for extra income, churches, school districts, community groups, or those looking for industry-mandated training and certification. To successfully complete the in-person, instructor candidates must: *Successfully demonstrate competency in the practice and polish skill session to continue in the instructor course. *Attend and actively participate in all course sessions. *Successfully complete class activities, including the required practice-teaching assignments. *Demonstrate instructor-level skill competency in all skills and scenarios. Note: Instructor candidates are expected to demonstrate competency in the following skills: Adult CPR/AED, Infant CPR/AED, adult, and infant choking, and direct pressure to control bleeding regardless of their basic level certification. Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow the directions in the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This blended learning course consists of online content, a skills session, and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information, please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course. Your training will include a breathing barrier, pocket mask, gloves, sanitation wipes, and literature copies pertaining to your training. Participants are required to have the Instructors and Participants Manual (either digital or printed version). We recommend printing. All resources are available via the American Red Cross Store. All course manuals will be available for download upon launching the class. Upon completion, a final exam will be administered and must be passed with at least 80 percent. Please review and prepare.
