❄️ Vital Hearts Winter Medical Camp for Teens A Day in Healthcare! Ages 12–17 | Saturday, November 7, 2026 | 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Does your teen have an interest in healthcare, nursing, medicine, or simply want to explore what it’s like to work in the medical field? The Vital Hearts Winter Medical Camp is a fun, interactive, hands-on experience designed to introduce teens ages 12–17 to healthcare skills and career opportunities in an exciting and age-appropriate environment. This is more than sitting in a classroom! Campers will participate in hands-on activities, medical simulations, team challenges, games, and career exploration while getting a firsthand look at the world of healthcare. Camp Experiences Include: 🩺 Vital Signs – Practice taking blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, and oxygen saturation. 🧑‍⚕️ Patient Care Skills – Explore basic patient care, infection control, PPE, patient safety, communication, and other healthcare fundamentals. 🩸 Basic Phlebotomy & Lab Skills – Learn about phlebotomy equipment, tourniquets, blood collection tubes, specimen labeling, lab safety, and simulated blood collection using training equipment. ❤️ CPR & First Aid – Practice basic CPR, AED, choking, and first aid response skills using hands-on training equipment and emergency scenarios. 🚑 Medical Simulation – Work as part of a healthcare team to respond to realistic simulated patient scenarios and put newly learned skills into action. 🎓 Healthcare Career Exploration – Discover career pathways such as CNA, Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Nursing, EMS, and other healthcare professions. 🏆 Games, Challenges & Prizes – Campers will put their knowledge and skills to the test through fun medical challenges, team competitions, trivia, and more!
